Gitche Gumee would not be able to facilitate our ministry as we do without the help of our incredible seasonal staff, who use their time, resources, and gifts to serve others! Learn how you can be a part of our team in summer 2026.

Cabin Leaders

At Gitche Gumee Bible Camp, we have high expectations for our Cabin Leaders. You will be the main source of Biblical friendship, encouragement, and accountability for your campers. Although we have solid Bible speakers that will pour truth into their lives, you will be modeling this truth on a daily basis. We do not expect perfect people, so please don't be hesitant to apply. Counselors will facilitate discipleship and activities during our Youth Camp weeks.

Support Staff

Service Workers play a vital role in our day-to-day operations at Gitche Gumee Bible Camp. These positions will be determined by the skill and preference of the individual, the need of GGBC, and the availability of the applicant. These positions generally fit into three primary roles: grounds, maintenance, food service, and nursery. Some roles will overlap as needs require.

Cook/Food Service

Our kitchen staff serves the camp by preparing and serving high-quality meals. By joining this team, you will have the opportunity to serve alongside others in a positive and upbeat environment. You do not need to have previous food service experience to serve in this capacity.

Work Weeks

Each spring we offer 2 great weeks for our volunteers to come and be a part of the preparation for our camping season. Housing and meals are provided. Our work weeks for 2026 will be May 3-15. Call our office today to let us know if you'd like to participate!
