Youth Camp
One of the fundamental values of Gitche Gumee is to partner with and serve the local church. We want to accomplish this by offering our facilities, program, and resources to be used by churches for outreach and discipleship of the next generation by planning their next children's and youth retreats with us.
How Does It Work?
Youth Retreats are fully customizable to fit the needs of your church. Please consider the options below.
Program
A significant part of the camp experience and the relationships formed stems from stems from enjoying fun activities, worship, fellowship, and simply sharing everyday moments together.
Gitche Gumee is here to assist with every aspect of your program. We can help design the retreat schedule, offer a team for worship, facilitate games, organize campfires, and much more if requested.
If you prefer your retreat to be led by your team, we recommend taking a camp tour to explore all the available options.
Retreat Speakers
Have your own speaker, topic, and theme? That’s excellent!
We are also happy to offer our talented expository and topical Bible teachers who are eager to tailor their lessons to align with your goals.
Meals
Allow our highly experienced camp staff the opportunity to prepare and serve you delicious, homemade meals. A drink station including soda, milk, juice, coffee, and hot chocolate are available at each meal, as well as dessert!
Our support staff will also be on hand to handle all of the clean-up so that you can maximize time with your campers!
Counselors
With your leaders serving as counselors, these retreats offer the perfect opportunity to deepen discipleship relationships with your kids and teens.
Costs
The Youth Retreats are entirely customizable to fit your requirements and align with your budget. Factors such as the duration of your stay, the number of meals included, and the selection of cabins for accommodation will influence the overall cost.
Scholarships
We want to ensure that everyone has the chance to experience these retreats. If your budget prevents all of your students from participating, please reach out to the camp office for assistance.
Capacity
Our Dining Hall, meeting facility, and cabins can host up to 200 people.
