Our Current Needs

For over 90 years, God has consistently provided for Gitche Gumee Bible Camp. As we outline some of our current needs, we are prayerfully hopeful for His ongoing support.

 

We have been blessed with the opportunity to bring on two new full-time staff members in Josh and Paige Uhl! Josh will serve as our Assistant Camp Director, while Paige will assist with promotion and advertising in her role as Marketing Director. To facilitate keeping them on staff, we are seeking support in $100 per month from 50 our faithful donors.

 

In addition to this, we’ve outlined several important projects for Gitche Gumee. One of the largest will focus on Pocahontas, one of the oldest cabins on campus. This includes a complete bathroom redesign along with winterization upgrades, allowing it to be used year-round. With these improvements, Pocahontas will not only honor its history but also serve as a vital part of our plans to expand the camp season. In addition, we have a variety of other projects on the horizon, including a new roof for the dining hall, upgrades to two cabins, and significant improvements to Hiawatha cabin. Our project fund goal for this is $70,000.
